Friends of the Verde River, National Forest Foundation, and Prescott National Forest are hosting Allen Haden from Natural Channel Designs in a Train the Trainer Workshop focused on low-tech process-based restoration (LTPBR) methods. The virtual workshop on October 10th will cover the goals and objectives of installing certain LTPBR structures in the arid Southwest, followed by a Q&A. The in-person session on October 17th will teach attendees how to install LTPBR structures on an active project in the Prescott National Forest. The virtual session is required to attend the in-person training.
